Realisticly, it could probably be done any where between 15-20 grand if you all go in 1 vehicle and theres no climbing involved etc, but... you don't leave any room for leeway should things go wrong, so yeah twenty minimum really.

 

I disagree, it could only be done for 15 grand if you were in business to go bankrupt!

 

You have to think of financial exposure as well as ongoing maintenance for saws, choppers etc.

 

There's also the risk that the client may not pay for 30 days or more adter completion and if it's a big company possibly 90 days after completion which means at 15k you will have worked for nothing, had 4 guys and kit tied up for nothing and have to sit out the extended credit.... This kind of scenario can brake a business if not managed properly

highland forestry, thanks for good advice.

 

Def agree with you regarding ongoing expensies and maintainance.

 

I estimate job to take 30 days at most. prob will take somewhere around 20 to 25 days but i always through extra days in just in case.

 

Is it a rail clearance?

 

Try to get interim payment terms from your client!
