The end grain does not look very pink.

 

Granted but then the bark isn't very oak like and the pinkness bleaches over time

 

If it were oak I think there would need to be a couple more "ballast weights" in the bucket :laugh1:

We used to run a Ferrari tractor which looks like the same type of thing. That too punched well past its weight, it spent most of its life mulching off between narrow spaced plantations untill its front parted company with the back. The front section had to be chased down and the stop pulled :)
