Same up here, was trying to keep Sunday free, but its looking unlikely now.

Have inches of snow this morning and that will mean even more phone calls later today

Judging by how far down the forum this thread has dropped I'd say most people have been a bit quiet? I've not done a load for 2 weeks but this afternoon had 4 orders for Saturday! People have been mentioning the siberian blast coming in a fortnights time!! Any info? Weather forecast hasn't mentioned it?

It's a bit quiet here at the moment so we have just done our first bit of advertising in the local rag to pic things up. Dartmoor tree cutter mentioned he was very busy a few weeks back, I think he has sold everybody down here their winters supplies

It's died a death up here this year at present only wholesale orders keeping me ticking over.Not a place wanted to be in month away from Christmas

Everyone and there dog is doing logs now tho,Even had some rival selling plastic sacks of logs ringing my customers telling them she can undercut me!

It's all got bit underhanded and I'd be happier in a other trade I think.

Hope everyone else is still kicking butt and taking names

Had someone pretending to be me a few weeks ago (I'm female with glasses and blonde hair!)

He may have looked like me but I have not spotted any other lady log delivery trucks around here, ( I have met them in other parts of UK)

Also someone under cutting my price by £1 /M3 but failing to mention a £6 m3 delivery charge!
