I stumbled across this gate at my local garden Center it's made of oak and I'm sure it is quite a skill to make it! It's for sale for £800!

we sold some log sheds to two garden centres near us.

 

both told us the same. they make 200% profit on what they sell !!!!!!

They probably have a 200% mark up, but that does not mean 200% profit, they (like us) have countless overheads.

 

I was in retail for many years, IMO its way harder to make money in retail that what I do now.

I was just about to say the same thing .. nonetheless 200% is a very healthy mark up.
