6 months is quite an age for friction cord of any spec- think of the abuse it gets- i would have issues passing it on age alone. Was it glazed or did it have memory?

I would agree....cant seem to get some of my colleagues to se it this way.....

What does it cost to tie up a new hitch cord....arrogant IMO....

I never see the point in splicing prussic- it's a disposable item. I have worn a piece out since saturday ( harsh abuse) but illustrates my point

dont need a pic. eye-to-eye are splices are not CE marked, only the rope is........

Craig is correct. The splice is not CE marked and it would take a very experienced splicer to inspect this type of cord splice. In fact the Bee Line as a cord has only been passed by CE in the last couple of months.

Cover only break tests on 5/16 Beeline by a very experienced splicer.

 

1st test - 5227lbs

 

2nd test- 5298lbs

 

Just the cover, not the core.
