You did speedway Gary? I went to see the Berwick Bandits speedway once,  they were bonkers.

Motocross Doug mostly but assed about a bit with the old Jawa

That's equally bonkers I'd say, but just never had the danglies to ride like that. Mate had a Cr250 and that gave me the fear, was happy on my little trials bike. Hats off to you for proper riding, and stubby too!

This was taken just before i packed up in 2006,great times and a lot of broken bones

You must've been as fit as a butchers doing that regularly. Did you compete with a team? Excellent photo

Had a few sponsors back in the day,and trained pretty hard

Ooh, looks saucy! Do you reckon it'd get to Cape Town and back on 1 chain, a set of boots an an oil change?

This bloke and his Guzzi Le Mans in 1980 did it one way (down the east side of Africa) and then, after returning as crew in a yacht race) did Canada and Both Americas too. I went some of the way with him (from the former Yugoslavia through Israel) Well worth a read[emoji1303]
