Jobs you find satisfying?

Having enjoyed a family picnic and a quiet pint at this pub:

Castle Inn EdgeHill, Banbury, Oxon, OX15 6DJ

I came home this evening and have just finished mortaring down some paviours for new steps next to my garage.

It struck me that laying bricks and concrete is something I find rather satisfying - I think it is the (perceived) permanence of it.

Anything else, apart from tree work, that people get job satisfaction out of?

I'm loath to admit this, but I actually find all the domestic stuff like hoovering etc. quite satisfying :blushing:.

It must be the nesting instint in me coming out, but I love a clean, comfy home to relax in :001_rolleyes:

I'm not sure about nesting. I do the bulk of the daily housework and although I'm not that keen on hoovering up my sawdust twice a day I do enjoy relaxing in a freshly scrubbed, hoovered and cleaned house. I hate having dirt and untidyness around me.
