Use a throwline to install your line, or use your pruning spikes to get up there, and ofcourse takedown spikes if the trees coming down. If you dont have any pruning spikes then just use your normal ones and spike up the back of the tree so nobody can see.

whats pruning and take down spikes? and how the hell do you get a throw line into a conifer? ha ha

Conifers I've had to do 'reductions' on I've just free climbed with spikes and strop in hand. Then tie in to take weight off my spikes and then cut away where required.

On removals just spike up and take branches off on the way up. Then chog it down as you come back. Quick and efficient!
