The solution, apparently, is to eat honey made from the area in which you live / are affected i.e from local beehives. Something to do with the honey reprogramming your immune response to accept the pollen and thus disarm the buggers. Kinda homoeopathic.

 

Tried that and found it didn't work for me, also tried manuka honey, has like an 85% pollen content or something, i probably didn't give that one much of a chance though as i ran out of money for it...:thumbdown:

 

now take one loratadine tablet each day, starting around the beginning of of March, seems to ease it and costs pennies:thumbup:

I do to someone once told me of an injection to help it but think they only give it you if it realy bad? It is horrible and depressing and there is nothing you can do.

 

Worse time is when you sit in a beer garden with your mates beautiful summers day and you cant enjoy your beer because of sneezes and snot:thumbdown:

I get it on and off from now on but does seem to be getting worse each year....

 

The only thing that has ever worked to stop sneezing fits and symptoms is to stick a tight dust mask on for 10 mins. The symptoms disappear like magic although obviously not that practical.
