timbermacpherson, to fit linkage to the front of your 1300l, you have 2 options, genuine merc bits, expensive and difficult to source all the bits 2nd hand, and doesnt have a great lift height, atkinson vos setup, still pricey, double ram instead of 1, but a better range of movement, if you already hav hydraulics, no problems, if not..., belt driven pump at the front + oil tank+ spool valves, or if you have the pre install, an n16 pto pump on the gear box+ oil tank + spool valves, have a look on the mercedes benz forum, there is a section for unimogs, mostly americans wanting to go faster, but a lot of good tech info if you look

i think a mog is better running about on red (ok breaking the law) than a transit with 2 ton on the back ( really dangerous and breaking the law) end of the day its a individuals choice to do what they want. :001_smile:

There's also the option if a din plate is alredy fitted din mount lift arms are available and stow up very neat

it is indeed Skyhuck, It was late last nightwhen Iposted up, just had a quick look, never noticed the grill shape, 411 westie, more a smilie face than the 404 "frown" grill, well picked up
