Why not cut it once with a saw then split it and run it through a saw bench, less work for the saw then?

This is how i am going to be wokring this season.

I am using a MS660 with a 25 inch bar for most processing work, i can cut way more discs with it in one tank of fuel than i can with my 390 with a 20inch. The 660 is just effortless.. well it still has me sweating but you know what i mean.

If noise is a problem and you have access to power have considered an electric saw??

We have a mse220 excellent saw for upto 14" then will tend to get hot when bucking. Not quite the power of my 039 but close.
