In what other line of "work" apart from professional sports do you take photos of yourself working and then race home to enlarge them and print them out or upload them to Facebook. Can you imagine a builder saying "derek get a photo of me with this wheelbarrow up the scaffold" hahahahaha

Thats true!

Ive just read this all and what a delightful thread  . How about taking yer boots off after a hard days graft and then removing yer socks but as you do you roll them inside out to stop the chip going all over the place . Wow top thread . In some respects at times you hate the job but cant wait for tomorrow :confused1: I wonder if anyones missus has made them strip off in the garden as you stink of that lovely tree smell .Was your hands in the sink and its suddenly minging . You own 10 miles of rope but oh that new stuff looks nice ££

when you have covered up a fuel/oil spill with chipping and sawdust

complimented someone even when you think there work/action is crap......(just so you dont have to put up with their questioning on the way home)

you can sharpen a saw by hugging it like your mothering the dog/or sat in the driving seat of the van/truck/4x4

you get the "i love big toppage" syndrome

you love stunt felling especialy if you have an audience

+ every other tree surgeon is a pikey
