is it just me or is there a severe lack of work going round at the moment:confused1:

not particually good round near me. few phone calls but not loads. the increases in living costs and cuts by the government are having a big effect on peoples spending. so they arent able to afford services like tree surgery. it will pick up. always does.

Uptake of quotes isn't great, though.

It is getting hard, even we with our very fortunate client base, we are now cutting prices to win work, with our clientèle that's a bad sign on the wider world.

 

im hearing certain big companies we thought previously impervious to these fluctuations are now feeling the pinch.

 

I knew we was far from the worst of the weather this storm had to bring, and the writing is now on the wall.

 

Its time to put the gloves on and sort the men from the boys.

Things are getting tough round my way too, having to be very keen with my prices.

Strugggling abit here, but doing whatever it takes to make some money. Do 3days tree work, but sub out to a fencer somedays, and also work as a delivery driver, and general handy man. "Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do..."
