As i understand it, there has never been much reduction on bulk buying white diesel. The only advantage used to be if you live out in the stix you save on driving to a garage to fill up....

Red about 55p/l at the mo.

Will have to make another call then won't i. I presume i spoke to an office girl but thought she'd know what she was on about!! Anyway going on what you're saying it must be wrong so why do you bother buying it in bulk? If the fuel is availabe on the forecourt for about the same price surely it's hardly worth the bother is it? Plus you must have a higher chance of fuel theft:confused1:

I dont buy in bulk and store I use a bunkering card with BP. Sometimes its cheaper than the pumps by up to 8p a litre but not recently. If you get a 1000 litres delivered in you need a bunded tank and you will save 3p a litre max.

Do you? Have they changed the regs again?

Last time I checked (about 2 years ago) it was over 3500L for domestic & over 1500L for agri plus other exemptions for temporary tanks so an IBC would be fine.

Ok I know its not about the cost of red diesel, but I got talking to a petrol station attendant and he was saying that the cost of petrol in Sweden was a staggering 2.50 euros a liter.
