Geocaching

It does sound quite cool, but if I suggested it to Mrs Tommy_B, she'd look at me like I'd suggested a two week break in Afganistan.

I bet there is a Geocaching forum somewhere where everyone is going "Who's this Shrek's Wee Geocacher? How's he got 2000 posts already?" hahaha!!

Geocaching - The Official Global GPS Cache Hunt Site

started gecaching about 3 years ago:blushing: got over 75 finds on this website, not done it since summer last year though, one of the blokes i used to work with came up with loads of ingenious ideas on how to find the caches in logs and trees (without being unsafe or the tree getting damaged)

got quite addictive for a while

I can see it now, Extreme/Arbtalk Geocaching. Like geocaching, cept the cache's are hidden up in the trees; cavities, forks, whatever. You'll have to climb the tree to get the treasure, that way the run-of-the-mill geocachers don't get their mits on it.

Maybe that's what that mysterious spade-in-the-tree thread posted a while back was all about!
