The cow waved the mirror round the back of my head and I was more concerned with how much of my scalp was showing through and I did not have my glasses on.

I've now got a set of shears and I'll get Pip to do it in future. But then again, could I trust a 12 yo girl to do it right?

I've done my own for over 15yrs. Mate gave me some clippers for my 18th birthday - best, ever present I've ever had, saved me 100s of pounds!

When I got married, thought I'd get Liz to do it - Big mistake! The grading comb thing fell of and she never noticed - grade 0 for a nice big stripe.

I always do it myself now - take my time and get her to just check it!

But then; I now I'm a control freak! ;)
