ran out around christmas so starting on next years now, got bit of dry softwood but people are fusssy and want hard wood (until they get delivered load of wet hard wood).

this is my first year and i started with 40 tonnes of seasoned in crates, and a lot of rings lying around the place. I am aiming to start next season with 150 tonnes seasoned, and have now got infrastructure to store lot more. On top of that i hope to process 4-6 tonnes a week of hardwood kiln dried off-cuts to use as kindling. I spent most of last summer researching etc and nothing seems to season wood like crates, in fact ash and chestnut that i logged in October is reading 20-28% on my moisture meter, logs cut to 8-10 inch lengths

less than 100m3 left under cover already have 200m3 cut stored out side geting ready for next winter but looking for someone local with a processor to HP16 to hire out either with or without an operator :thumbup:
