i want a 3 new lowering ropes that do not require pulleys portawraps ect for very light branches.

We have been using retired climbing ropes but would like to get something a little bit more suitable H&S compliant

Old climbing rope should be ok, as long as you retire it early enough for it to still have plenty of life left in it.

As long as its marked for rigging only it would be ok by the HSE.

Buy new climbing ropes more often (always good policy) and use the old ones for anything and everything and Loler inspect them as usual taking into account what they are used for and have been subjected too.
