167k here. but we have around 300k worth of assets:001_smile:

 

If this is purely business owing and assets that's scary "gearing" but not uncommon. 5 years ago the banks would have loved to lend on this ratio, now if you divide by two which is often the value of assets when sold under pressure it's a different story.

Are you including equity in property? If so I own minus something! My equity far out weighs any other borrowing by about 100K, ( I was lucky on my house purchase) but I couldn't afford to move house to a larger property, and I probably couldn't even get a mortgage now to buy my own house at the original purchase price let alone what its worth now!!

 

Its all relative!

 

You can't put a figure on quality of life!!!
