Ive gat a large willow trunk thats fallen into a semi-dry pond, the trunk is also filled with concrete,& the client wants it gone.

Thinking about cutting along its length as much as I dare, then trying to open it up with wedges made of oak.

Not a nice prospect for the saw,but being a semi rotten willow Im going to use some old chains on it to save killing a nice fresh chain.

My thinking is that once Ive opened it up I may be able to pry the comcrete out with a six foot bar,or at least get a swing at it with a sledge.

Turning into a mare this one; got a bat survey to do on it first, then get a handle on the extensiveness of this concrete with so far either drilling or other survey - thermal imaging??? Flippin busy until Xmas and they want it done by Jan 10th !!! Gonna cost em a pretty penny for sure! They have masses of space yet want all inc chip removed, access road is on steep slope and one car width which must be clear by 16:30 each day for resident access... oh dear! Walk away?!

Been thinking about this job- what you need is a diamond bladed concrete chainsaw

Great bits of kit by the look it! You can hire them, so cost the hire of said tool into the job.
