well i promised you all an update and here it is:thumbup:

 

after 6 1/2 weeks in the comfort of my hospital bed:sneaky2: ive been let home for a bit of rest bite.

For those who this makes no sense to, check out the thread "stumpgrinder accident"

 

i dont know exactly how long i'll be home for but possibly a couple of weeks. the plan is to go back to hospital around the end of november/ beginning of december to carry on with reconstruction.

 

i got home yesterday (saturday) and it felt really strange but it is great being able to see my kids and spend time with them. :thumbup:

Great news Dave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

There are few places better than your own bed!!!!

 

And just seeing and hearing your kids doing every day things (even when they are fighting, like mine some of the time) if a real tonic.
