From early part of this year, was outside a bnb we were in when working at Linacre reservoirs in chesterfield

Topping some dead trees earlier in the week. The owner of the land was away and wanted pics, so there. I should get more, but often dont think till after.

 

All need wedging. About 40ft tops. I even took some back weight out of the last one and it still sat back. Had to stack 2 wedges driven most of the way in to tip it.

Thanks David, oh god must be about 80 in total that is a very rough guess there was alot of poles and alot of cuts to make. Check out the tree yourself some time, I think my boss mentioned he would like to meet you! Do you no Henry?

 

Haven't seen Henry for a couple of years. How's the coppice re-gen in Collin's Coppice coming along? Hope the Heras kept the deer out.
