While I'm uploading pics, Couple of the quick bodge job we had to do to mend the oil cap on the 020 after the top got broken as I was climbing through. Held suprisingly well. Washer with a little pin to hold.

Yeah, but you can always tell the older hands by how they refer to them. I still call them 020's, the younger lads look at me funny.

I still remember the scorching noisy square metal 020's, great saw.

We had a college kid come on with us for the day, i shouted down and asked for the 020, he didnt know what i meant. I said, you know, the top handle!

 

He said we only got an ms200t, not an 020

 

Daft bugger, needless to say he only lasted 2 days.

the new caps are a pita if you ask me, i have lost loads of time and money with them and i dont know how much oil:thumbdown:

 

Couldnt agree more. No trouble with any other caps on any other of my saws- oiler cap on ms200t though....:thumbdown:

I had some little twerp say the same to me "its not an 020 its a ms200T!"

i nearly came down and twatted him think it was the tone he said it but he was gone by the end of the week ,know it all little twonk...

after climbing with an old 020 for a while it really makes you appreciate a 200t though....took me ages before i gave in and bought one.....wish i had much earlier now!!

i have both but tbh still prefere the 020 but not sure why

often call saws by size ie 254 or 268

as thats what i really mean ie 254 = 15 inch 268 is 18 inch with 70cc ish
