General Tree pics

Got a call about an ash that was moving i nthe wind. When we arrived the tree was on the deck. Its neighbour had leant onto a small sycamore but we couldnt deal with it as was on private property and was far too windy to cut down.

 

Hey Matt, did you have any dealings with the big lime tree down in Queens avenue, Dorchester?? It came down right opposite my parents place earlier this week.

 

My mother is now paranoid about the whole avenue of trees!!

Nope my friend at Knighton Countryside got that job. He said it was an awkward tree to cut up as it was sat on the house but at the same time it wasnt. He couldnt tell if there was tension or compression in the limbs.

Makes the job a bit more interesting! :-)

 

Heres a small job from new years day.... Not a great start to the year for the Rav4's owner! There was so much weight on the front r/h wing, the rear l/h wheel was nearly in the air!

just got back from a call out, walnut i told the owner last time i was him just after xmas that it had honey fungus, and the union the crack had appeared over time, had opened another inch. i said id give it a month at the most. but fell on deaf ears. but lucky for him went it fell it caught the telegraph pole didnt knock any of the 3 lines on the pole, pushed the fence abit, and didnt go in the very busy road the other side of the fence.

 

 

if any one wants the timber its in long lengths, if not it shall be firewood :thumbup1:

Hi. Oak tree with large split, alot under tree large border to right, to left foot path fence green house. No where to lower anything so fill basket and swing round and empty.

had this windblown euc to clear up this morning from last weeks winds.

 

the wonderful use of ladders :biggrin:

 

got it to a single stem, then had a pulley up a tree tied to landy to lift it up then tied the stem to the tranny to pull into the drive. easy day kicking are heels home by lunch :001_smile:
