Who's having the wood Moz? We got asked by several people today on Mick's job.

 

'I say, is this wood available?'

 

'Yep. £180 a load!'

 

I asked one lass if the lawn was strewn with our £20 notes would she ask if she could have them? They all asked politely though, so that was returned with a couple of Micks business cards.

The customer and a guy we know are going halves on the wood, They want the smaller stuff (20 inch round and under) for firewood and the main stem in 2 pieces to get milled up, It can be felled at around 20ft tall, So he'll have 2 nice big chunky 10ft pieces to be milled at some piont.

Stem came down on the 3rd and final day :thumbup1: Was a good job for the 2 of us, We enjoyed doing it, Made a change from the conifer bashing!! Helped that all the wood stayed on site :001_cool: All we had to do was ring a fair bit up and the main stem stayed in 2 pieces ready to be milled up :biggrin:
