cheers marc, thats exactly how we done it, some branches just didnt have any points to take it to so being Acer i wasnt really to concerned as it will come back like mad.

 

A lot of people say this but whenever I re reduce an acer there seems to be 3 or 4 inchs of dead from rounded off cuts before new shoots appear.

was that explained to the client beforehand???

Only, I cant see the point of that job???
