i will try and find out tomorrow david.

Was really intrigued, so went foraging on the web.

Ileodictyon cibarium - Common Basket Fungi

Mainly in NZ & Aus.

Also been recorded as an introduced organism here in England.

It's a saprophyte as you suggested earlier.

Cool Fungi

Thanks for posting Drew.

Do you know if the banded Skink is the same as the Chevron Skink Drew?

Just read that the Chevrons have only been spotted a hundred times since it was discovered in 1906.

Any idea on the name of the fungi ?

Brown and chevron skinks apparently david-when they get moved over i will try and get a close look and some photos. Saw some of the basket fungi at young stage, bursting out of the egg but did not have a camera with me! back on site again tomorrow though so will hopefully remember the camera.

Yesterday, hit a deer on the way to work, luckily I was slowing down from 170mph in my rice rocket and saw the deer spinning to a halt after going right under the car. It was dead.

Anyway, working on a Sunday?

Nice set.

Was it liver frickasy for breakfast?

Nope, I only eat live food.

That Sycamore was in a horrible state and towered over the neighbouring garden, luckily for me there was a lovely big Beech to hang from and also to rig off, just as well as the flex in the remaining stem was a little disconcerting.
