If you want to attract Charlie try this:

Boil a fair ammount of horse hoof in water for about 3 hours.

Thats a new one, cheers for that Deer man, it may take a while to get some horses hoof, buggers don't stand still for long. :001_tongue:

I'll give it a go though.

Pretty much the same for me - i am a victim of an over active imagination, and my mind will not turn off...has been the same for about 15 years.

I am the same, can't stop thinking about stuff.

Try writing down what you are thinking, or what you need to remember for the next day. Worked a treat for me

Hmm, perhaps thats my problem then, lack of mental stimulation!

You want to try some shock therapy, how about watching an episode of big brother or coronation street before bed to numb your brain!

I have had it since childhood, but thankfully it is not continuous. I just hate it when i crash and burn every few weeks- will be unconsious for about 18 hours then start the cycle again

I've been abusing my sleep patterns for some years now and so when I try to actually have more than 4 hrs I can't. It's either mental activity of being physically jittery. I think some yoga and meditation would probably do the trick, but I'm too `not bothered' to give it ago. Now I have apathy and insomnia. I've noticed I'm usually the last UK arbtalk member to turn in. Television is really bad for insomniacs by the way, it stimulates the mind too much. even the dumbed down programmes can keep your mind working long after they've finished. If anyones still up gone 1 am. I'm usually here for idiotic conversation and jokes eh, Mr Ed?
