if you want to get technical,, my best mate runs smartwool....how tech do you want to get?

 

stay away from synthetic,, stay natural,, merino is good,, go with either one pair thinker or 2 thin pairs works well,

 

should really be looking at footbeds too,, how many of you use superfeet?

Bridgedale or Smartwool. Don't think I've got any others... just good walking socks. Last forever, come in a variety of warmness!

 

bridgedale, bridgedale, bridgedale all day every day, even when i'm not wearing boots sooo comfy but 15 pairs don't half set you back but have lasted v.well indeed. In ultra cold winter i wear their thermal liners but that don't haoen v.often in this mild isle
