Looks a bit dangermouse, no stop button or bar. But a good idea. I think you have to be careful not to get leaves etc. in with the "logs", I wouldn't want to be buying a bad thats half leaves/twigs and half tiny rounds.

Might be good for people called Oscar who have those terra-cotta furness things on their decking though :)

It's a great bit of kit. I'm collecting soft wood slabwood and cutting down from local saw mill also i'll be using willow poles next year all for kindling waste not want not:thumbup1:

Interesting piece of kit. Would come in handy for dealing with apple prunings. Wonder if there would be an interest in bags of apple 'chunks'. Normally we would just stack and burn stuff that size. Worth considering.

How're you getting on with the machine after a few months of using it? we've loads of small diameter hardwood to do something with and there's only so much charcoal we can make.

Looks a good idea. But really only producing a thicker type of kindling.

Would prob sell well in the nets if you had a good outlet.

too small to be worth putting at roadside

there's stuff from 4"down to an inch or so - cleaning between the rows of a young oak planting, as well as all the pruned off branches which are 2-3" or so. We've been leadign a bit out for our own fires but there's only so much tiny stuff you can be arsed with.

We'd been talking about the branch logger again and thought I'd see if anyone had any more feedback yet :thumbup1:
