Hi I love mine.I have had it a few days now with a clear visor. it fits my head well and its in cool hi vis . The ear defenders to start with were difficult to snap down into place but now I have th hang of it its great I am delighted with it . I had a petzl helmet before but it never sat well on my head and flopped about even with the small size so for me its money well spent.

Had mine a year now, all the padding has fallen apart(glue does not like sweat).I've found that the sweat band up front holds on to too much liquid then releases it at the most inconvienient time! The ear defenders lost their spring after the first six mmths so don't help much anymore. He smoke visor I was using broke too easily(one rouge conifer branch under it and it snapped off just near the metal wheel. ) this is all because I wanted to look the dogs. Petzl make solid practicle lids. Hurmph.

I have a petzl and a stein and much prefer the stein for fit and comfort. Got msa defenders on husky clips with husky visor. None of that top gun look.

We all know that Kong make the best helmets though. Haha.

I have the stein lid with peltor defenders and a mesh visor. Prefer the mesh to the solid one any day. Could never get used to them.

I have used both the petzl and stein. Although I've used the petzl hardly as much. I prefer the stein as it's really comfy

I was looking at getting a stein helmet the other year, glad I stuck to the good old husky 'arborist' helmet:thumbup1:

I'll just make sure I don't whack the side of my head with a branch like we did in the good old days before H&S
