Ive posted my c.v to various international job banks but thought id put it out to you guys too. I want to get back out on the road and see more of the world, if anyone has heard of international opportunities please let me know eh? Ideally Canada cos I used to live there but didnt get to see it all, but right now I`ll go anywhere....

Had mine a year now, all the padding has fallen apart(glue does not like sweat).I've found that the sweat band up front holds on to too much liquid then releases it at the most inconvienient time! The ear defenders lost their spring after the first six mmths so don't help much anymore. He smoke visor I was using broke too easily(one rouge conifer branch under it and it snapped off just near the metal wheel. ) this is all because I wanted to look the dogs. Petzl make solid practicle lids. Hurmph.

Love nearly everything about my skylo, nearly. I find it a little bothersome that there are no quick release toggles on the leg loops. So I end up hopping about and putting poo boots through my life support system part from that, comfy, safe, lots of kit loops. Never reyes the treemotion or majic, heard nothing but good things about the sequoia though. Trybefore you buy.

Yeah we were saying something similar today, taking the spare onto the front. It really needs a whole new chassis making up, which considering the price of the chipper it will even out in cost. It is a good chipper, just bad design.

Ok, so we have just picked up a landforce 165 at a local auction. Seemed like a good machine at a good price. The sting in the tail is a major design fault. It's arse heavy, by a fair go. This not only makes it a pig to manover around the yard but... It puts an massive amount of pressure on the front end and the tow hitch when towing. When we pocked it up we noticed some welding near the front end, we have already welded it once where the previous welds failed. Today, the chassis tore clean I'm half while we were on the way to site. There is way touch pressure and vibration going on. So my question is has anyone else had this problem or heard of this?

Hi I worked in Winnipeg for a year with a Metis Tree company, then I came back to England and have been working with an AA approved company. I am putting together my career cv by collecting relative nptcs and such. My Fiancee is Canadian and we will be returning to Canada sometime next year. I`d really like to make contact with you man and keep up a communicA. Our hope is to marry and (sorry my fiancee and me`s hope)emigrate back to Canada. I dont care about the rain or the snow or the mossies I love the work. -

Tried it for the first time a couple of weeks ago, its sort of like ketchup and worcestershire sauce, defo it needs some spicing up but a nice all round condiment. Makes a better glaze than dipping sauce. Ribs ribs ribs ribs....

Well theres a lot to think about there lads seems mostly that you had good experiences, I`ve sent the dodgy saw back and the seller is going to have his service depot look over it again. Apparently thay just over looked the list as long as yer arm things that were wrong.... Trying again with another stihl from another ebay seller fingers crossed.

Thanks Arob, I sent the bugger back yesterday so the feller can look over his saw to see what I`m talking about- he reckons it was running great before he sent it....but i`ve got my service depot to write an estimate of the work so if he tries anything funny I`ll go the route of paypal refunds and ebay malarkee.

Is it really worth the risk buying on-line? Are there any good stories about getting a chainsaw off some one when you havent seen it run or started it... I`ve just been buggered again buying on line, thought I`d got a bargin £130 for a 2005 stihl 024. Took it to my local service depot to get it tuned ready for work...Piston scorched, gaskets blown, gaskets missing!, manifold bent, bolts missing, chain brake loose, throttle switch naff, etc. etc. Would be £200 to get all the work done. Now a £130 bargin would be £300 pain in proverbial. Telling the lads at work and all have a horror story about buying from ebay ar a carboot. Best quote i heard today.."Why would anyone sell a good working saw? Why would anyone think of buying a used saw someone wants to sell?" Any success stories out there? Any more numpties like me?
