i'm not sure how they can afford to do it for free, but good on them. They obviously have more resources than I do.

I'd think that TMA do. 

 

Much as I like the TMA app I still preferred yours Steve, going as far as to buy a second phone to keep the app on an un-updated one - which worked until it somehow auto up-dated itself.

i'm not going to redevelop the app, its just a money pit. Instead I will work on making the online version as mobile friendly as possible.

Not yet mate, all the data’s on the server but functionality is a long way off

Ok thanks steve! I have just updated android on my phone, just clicked the fungi app and it loaded, downloaded images and appears to be working! Result
