Cold calling what transpired to be none existant days of corporate hospitality at sporting events.

 

Working nightshifts as a 'Depalleteriser' at a wine bottling factory. Countless green bottles...

Stacking 3l bottles of cider onto pallets, fresh from being filled. So hands got covered in cider, by the end of the day my hands looked like I had been in the sea all day. I did 1 10 hour day, which was 9 hours more than a few others. Was a real eye opener for me and gave me the kick up the arse I needed to do something I enjoy.

Worked for dynorod, paddling around in other folks bab, condoms & used tampons! it was £12 an hour which kept me there for 2 whole weeks. Last straw was a call out to a block of flats occupied by loads of immigrants who was trying to rob stuff out of the van while we cleared a man hole that was over flowing with sh*t! 5 mins into job i drove van back to depot and threw keys on gaffers desk ha.

I never got called to blocks of flats on that type of job but remember cracking a smile when, whilst we were standing around a recently cleared manhole, a posh lady at a house in Cheshire seemed very shocked when someone in her house flushed the loo and a big "Richard the Third" floated past. Apparently they don't have bodily functions in Cheshire!
