How much do tree surgeons earn?

I just opened a BUSINESS bank account i'll have you know

 

works not too bad at the moment.

 

although the farm where i dump my chippings just fell through & it took me a couple of weeks but i've found another one for free & one that charges a tenner to dump ANY load of a tenner to pickup ANY load of their own compost made of their green waste. wicked stuff!

 

i'm playing catch up on tree work now & have almost talked myself into spending around a grand on a log splitter soon.

 

Nice1, sounds good to me.

 

 

A log splitter is a god send, you feel so less guilty about watching someone use one all day compared to watching them split with an axe.

I pruned a mahonia last nite after tea.Not so much got out of bed for £50 as off my bum for £25 for 15 minutes work,and thats mrs oldwoodcutters sunday lunch sorted out.

Everyday these days i only do between 5 and 6 grand, With house prices the way they are i can only afford 8, Whats all that about?? Ive had to swap the Lambo for a ferarri My holiday home in Miami for one in Spain AND the other day i had to ring for a takeaway as i had to let my personal chef go

Just done my books for 09 / 10 and I earned sweet FA

However what a tree surgeon charges is substantially more than sweet FA. It depends on work and tools required.

Nearly as good as the codwood thread this, but not quite.

Next time I see my GP I'll ask him, oh by the way doc what do you earn. It's a subject no one will divulge, unless they're trying to make point in their favour like I'm on minimum wage and it's disgusting isn't it. Aiming to get support, sympathy or a back hander.
