How much do tree surgeons earn?

I am thinking about recruiting a tree surgeon and wanted to get an idea of how much they earn.

 

If any one with a small firm (operating with 2-6 people) could pm me with an approximate answer it would be very gratefully received. Any info I get will of course be confidential.

It's too vague a question. Why would anyone want to tell a complete stranger how much money they earn. Plus what one person earns will be completley different to the next person because of overheads etc.

 

Can you give more info on the need for this information?
