It's outragous that a man who doesn't notice he is pushing a car down the motorway infront of his truck manages to get praise for keeping his cool and manages to keep his hgv.

When i first seen it i thought it cant be real and must be some sort of spoof.

in the full report it said he had no way of knowing the car was there and due to her driving he did not see her at any point and did not feel the vehicle there

No it doesnt, if that had happened to me and I hadn't noticed, I'd hand in my HGV myself. He's a moron

 

 

Stevie, the woman driver was ok, but he pushed her down the motorway a very long way before eventually people flagged him down.

 

Like you say, all it needed was one of the wheel rims (which were ground away) to dig in and flip the car and he'd have flattened it completey.

 

For someone to get away with that is ludicrous

may be next she will take more care when she pulls in to the flow off traffic .the coppers simulated the incident & from the drivers position couldnt see the car ,as dafs have low driving positions compared with some trucks

Car drivers have no respect for the stopping distances and turning circles of Trucks.
