Another garden hedge done in between not being able to get across fields at the moment, always good to have a couple like this to fall back on. Had been laid before but Dorset/Devon style low to the ground, compared to its new look South of England style

Interesting pictures.

 

I always associated hedgelaying as something done down the edge of a field.

 

Never really considered horticultural hedgelaying like the pictures above to be a 'thing'.

 

Good to see that there are enlightened homeowners willing to invest in it.  Nice work.

Really impressive, here in Cumbria they seem to lay everything close to the ground with no supports or ties. Yours looks like a piece of art in comparison.

Found an old newspaper clip of my dad hedging back in the seventies with his old mcculloch
