you can bring saws back in hold luggage if they are new, and the joy of most transatlantic flights is that you have a large baggage allowance, so i took one case to canada with me and the way home had a hand held stihl blower/shredder (SH56), a MS192T and filled the rest of the box with other goodies, also they seem to get more freebies when buying kit, I got a hard carry case for a rear handled saw chucked in with the 192T (£35 to buy over here) and a couple of bars and chains for it, as well as a Stihl timbersports cap, and a file set, this was in 2007 but the topper and blower/vac came to about £360 all in, then just wrapped it all in brown paper, and put it through the same as suitcase

nothing to declare, as i had the paperwork signed by the stihl dealers, and they take all your details incase their is any problems, so if anyone ends up near whistler i can highly recommend Valley Chainsaw and recreation, in Pemberton :thumbup1:

Crank seal went on my ms200t a few weeks ago, so i rang around to get a replacement saw to replace it.

With discount I was quoted £370 inclusive of vat by a stockist 12 miles away, I rung up Browns who are more local to us but the cheapest they could supply the saw with a 14" bar was £420 as that's what they buy them in for.

So a bargain at £370.00
