They are not endangered in Norway.

 

I was not trying to be funny,I would genuinely like to be a Harpooner on a Whaler.My mate is a Navigator on large vessels and might be able to get me out on a Boat for a hunt.

 

I won't be able to Shoot one,but it would be an experiance!

google "against the current" should find an article about the cetacean brain, four lobes to our three along with all other mammalians, also more convulusions (folds) to thier brains.

Does anyone remember that documentary abouit that trawler skipper in Girvan who mounted a big harpoon on the bow and went hunting basking sharks to sell the fins to the Japanese?
