I have always had stihl clear ones, as i got one then got the auto spouts, then pierced the can but kept the spouts so had another stihl etc etc. I do reckon the orange husky ones are better, but IME and what others tell me, the fillers are the mutts on the stihl.......unless you drop a lump of oak on the oil filler that someone has cut and left leaning up against the tree you are felling and it bounces and flies towards your can.......can you send me one down please justin....Ta.

Oh and i promise to cross your palm with silver asap..

I've used the STIHL Oregon and Husky ones. They all do the job well enough. The advantage of the Oregon and STIHL ones is that they are clear and you can see how much fuel and oil is in the can. Also those STIHL fuel spouts last longer than the Husky eqivenlets. Although the auto cut off oil ones just seem to break on Husky Saws i've broken two on trying to fill the 346 gave up with them after that.

 

Saying all of that i have Husky one and it does just fine. It's on it's 4 fuel spout but it does look the smartest of the lot. If i got another it would be a husky one.

haha, a recent matter for me! Had a husky orange with green spouts can for the last 11 years - solid as a rock but irritating in terms of spout angle sometimes and not being able to see fuel and oil levels and guessing by weight or looking inside. Now got the Stihl one you sold me and love the fact you can see the contents! Auto oil shutoff is a bonus too.

I have an Oegon with the non-spill spout, still going after about 14years chucking about, and the Stihl clear, which is also good. The huskies have the problems listed above, and i cant think of anyone who hasnt been miffed with them

Ive got a Husky but prefer the works Stihl! A lot easier to use and you can see how much fuel you have left/whether you have mixed it.
