I have both

and i personally think they are important

and yes if you have 20 21 22 if anything happened and they were called into question you would need to have proof of refresher training or updates and certainly the equipment has changed a lot over the years so I dont think there unjustified

I personally would not let you climb on my jobs without as you would be on MY insurance and i could be held liable for non compliance and all that malarkey:001_tt2:

:001_rolleyes:Obviously you cannot send in a blue book to get a cert, but any cert that was issued is still valid.

I know a guy who was AAAC until a few years ago (when he sold his Co) who has the same certs as me.

did you not read this bit

Can I still use my blue book?

No, the use of blue books for Chainsaw registration and certification ended on 1st October 2005. If you still have a blue book and did not send it in bofore this date then you will have to re-take the assessments

For pittys sake!!!!!!!!!:001_rolleyes:

Yes of course I did, that why I replayed as I did.

You used to use the blue book to get your assessment, then send it in for the cert. If you still have a blue book its to late now to send it in, but if you have the cert it is sill valid.
