ha ha, well it's true in most cases.   stick to the trees and get me a banana while up there

Well well well, can't even gain the intelligence and eyesight to read my profile. I'm not swinging from trees, having seen the light, I drink whiskey for a living. Stumpings for guys whose knuckles scrape the pavement, so take my banana and shove it right up ya hole. 😛😛😛

Stumps are one of the few ways you can add value to a tree job.

However I have ground out exactly one stump in the 17 years I have been in Norway.  It used to be a good earner for my old boss in the states though.

When I first came to France in 2005 it was good money, as good as climbing etc.

Then gardeners and the like caught on and more people bought them, price went down..

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
