no point saying anything you havent thought yourself mate, it only takes a split second for a boo boo. What actually happened?

The ladder slipped and my natural instinct was to hold the ladder. That left me holding the saw in one hand which then resulted going into my arm. My fault really as I never asked anyone to foot the ladder.

Very lucky escape....like has been said, fair play for posting it mate. You can tie the bottom of the ladder to the tree if you dont have a spare bod to foot it.......or just get rid of the ladder...
