I seem to remember there was a buyer wanting sawn timber on the forum ages ago but can’t find the post… does any one have any idea who it was? I have a large collection of timber that has been air drying for 5+ years mostly oak , some band sawn ,some Alaskan but the roof of the barn has collapsed and it needs to go asap!
Brown oak, burr oak , spalted beech, olive ash, yew, burr maple.. I can move in to one side of a log barn but will need to be gone in the next month or two as next years firewood needs to be in there.

Any pointers would be much appreciated!

You should give a rough location.  I know from experience that selling bulk loads of sawn timber is very difficult.

I have sometimes bought in sawn timber, but the reality is sellers usually expect somewhere near a retail price, whereas for a flash sale of tons of timber to a single buyer there has to be a profit in it.

Matty i would be interested in a few slabs of yew at cost price as i have a customer in mind if they are nice worktop quality. No disrespect sir i need to do the work on them as well but have a fair price in mind £100 a slab
