On a slightly more positive note, I used to see dozens of those little silver NO2 containers which seem to have gone out of fashion, together with vape bottles.  There was a time when we had endless old cars dumped on the farm which has stopped.  The only amusing waste was a thorn bush by a remote lay-by which continued to be decorated with girl's knickers of all different bright colours.  There must have been twenty pairs at one time, quite an erection!

I saw someone throw a fag out of a car window just now. First thought was killing them.

In recent years, I have thrown at least a dozen cigarette butts back into the window from whence they came. If I pull up behind a smoker at a traffic light, I get ready... as soon as I clock that they are smoking, it's neutral gear, handbrake on, seat belt off, hand on door handle, ready to pounce. As soon as the butt gets thrown, I'm out the door, and it's off the ground and back in through their car window two seconds later, before they've even started to close it.

At first they'd often pick it up and throw it out again, so now I try and throw it behind them, so it lands in the back of their car.

Such a rush, man.

I heartily recommend this technique to anyone.

what are you supposed to do with it as modern cars don't have ashtrays

Lots of options: throw it directly on the floor of your car instead of the ground. Pocket ashtray. Swallow it. Quit.

I have other suggestions too, but we'll leave those up to the individual's imagination.

How about going old school and switching to rollies with a cardboard roach? At least the litter would be biodegradable then.

So, my brother was out this morning doing his civic duty. Helping to clear up some fly tipped rubbish.

Big commercial grade plant pots. Obviously been dumped as the bi-product of a large weed growing operation. Must have been very large, industrial, as he took 120 but said there was still 100s left.

I'll be having a fair portion of them for the garden, they're ideal for cucumbers, tomatoes and other large plants. Had some similar that I got years ago, from a police raid apparently. (Or maybe they'll come in handy for my retirement. 😉)

F*cking score! That's a great haul.

There is so much waste in horticulture, both legal and ill, that could easily be siphoned off to domestic users.

We did consider it as an opportunity to make a bit of trouser money. Those pots have got to be at least a Fiver each to buy from new. If you guys were local I'd happily share them around, I'm very tempted to go over there tomorrow to get more, hate to see good stuff going to waste.
