Collies are difficult,

 

Very much so, seems to be their exceptional level of intelligence combined with that instinctive drive for work that makes them such complex characters.

 

Put them in the wrong environment and they'll go rogue very rapidly, put them in the right environment with the right owners and they're absolutely terrific.

Very much so.

When dog is working well at sheep on the hill there are few things more satisfying. Although there is not enough work really to keep him on top form. Having said that, if he's having a bad day, there is nothing more frustrating!:-)
