Hope you didn't work him too hard Matt, he looks a little smasher!

 

Dad has that knackered 'pleased with my boy' look!

 

He worked no harder than the other 3 we had out today. Bramble (father) did a stunning retreive on a hard hit hen which went miles back. The vet did say that if we brought him out on a shoot day it would give him a fresh spark and his fire is back. He is putting weight back on and is getting stronger every week. Floyd picked up his first bird and brought it back to hand today. We havent even started training on feather yet and he brought a partridge back with no chewing at all. We think he has picked it up from his dad.

it is amazing how they pick up things we were walking some hound pupies one year they lernt to sit watching the labdors. the best bit was mum and dad were runing a hound show and the huntman was very rude so she therten him to make sit in the ring he was dertimind it would not so she made it sit lol he was very polite and apoligtic
