Surge in sales of used double cabs after Xmas?

Abso-bloody-lutely. I'm mystified too.  I'm on my third Kingcab Navara and don't know how I'd manage with anything else.  A single cab would have more buck space but no secure tool/clothing/sandwich locker, a double cab would have too little buck space.  The Kingcab is perfect; carries the occasional second passenger too for a short trip

I concur on the king cab matter. Always struck me as the best compromise by miles. Three in the front would be handier still.

Love the 3 front seats in my T5, wish it was more common.

Hoping to get a pickup when our Passat dies, king cab definitely seems to be the way forward... but again, if it could be 3 up front in comfort and anyone spare squeezed into the back... that'd be perfect.

I would imagine they will suddenly become very popular though!

I was thinking about this earlier. Seems the obvious course but people do like their big comfy trucks.

I wouldn't say no, but it depends what's available when I drive the Passat into the sea really. Don't see many of them around here, anyway.

Need a bit more smoke coming out the back of the VW before I start any real searching.

There was a fairly old Unimog, done up and fitted with a Passat engine on tree facebook the other day. If you wanted something with the comfort of a Land Rover but less convenient to get into.
