Or are you just going to continue to avoid the topic that... checking.. ah yes, the topic that you posted about.

🤦🤷‍♂️😂😂😂 You are definitely suffering from some form of self delusion.
You not get the irony of that post considering the  technique you are using repeatedly. Answer the outstanding question posted to you SP rather than talk about people avoiding the topic.

See I'd go the other way Mark that we carry so much personal information about in our pocket - but your mobile isn't accepted as proof of ID.

So many thing need us to verify who we are - work, banks, the dole, bus passes, mortgages and loans, work and volunteering and each wants a different set of documents (1, 2, 3 paper bills, photo ID, birth certificates, NI cards... all sorts)... so why not verify who we are once, present the ID card and job done? ID card can be digital or physical (same as not everyone has a drivers licence and passport, not everyone has a (working) smart phone).

The likes of France it is voluntary to carry it (? have to check this), so why not do the same... along the lines of not needing to carry drivers license as you drive.

I am not convinced on the being pulled over "show me your papers" thing though, think that is Daily Mail fantasy land paranoia filtering through to the main stream.

Anyone else amused how the peeps howling for a certain member to reveal any and all information on here asked for are so vehemently anti ID card?

”cos why should I have to prove anything?”

The glaring irony is certainly not lost. There is actually some amusement to be had from the situation; unlike the act of asking the same futile question day in day out, much like a lunatic howling at the moon.

It’s lost to those who are blind 42

As I said to Dempsey where has anyone asked for “ any and all information” ??.
Ffs it’s a simple question in regards where his coal was sourced. There’s one reason it’s futile and that’s due to the very very strange  technique ( mind you I recollect you doing something similar on the Covid thread, you never did come up with any evidence to back up your BS claims) your blagger teammate uses to avoid answering. And yeah you are right it is very amusing day after day watching SP desperately try to avoid giving an answer, yet still want to come in and try and debate 🤷‍♂️😂

When I bought coal it was from Crawcrook, the bags didn't say where it was sourced.

Get over it.

You have chosen to tell us all about your business, how tax ceilings affect yourself and the people you work with, and how that might lead to you taking less work on. You posted the industry rates for your job.

Stop playing the victim, Dave.

Victim 🤔is that what calling out a libtard left wing anonymous blagger makes you 😂😂 incorrect Mark it was the sawmill and the double cab pick he was offering loads of hypothetical ludicrous figures and opinions on not the offshore shite. Hence he was asked from what perspective ie employed or self employed which as usual he refused to answer. Come on lad get it right. “ let it go “ **************** that no chance. By the way the doing less days in the UK sector as I alluded to worked out just fine.
You and others on here of a left wing persuasion would be calling me out big time if I was doing the same shit as SP. Good old fashioned honesty doesn’t seem to be high on some people’s lists of priorities, seems your political alignment is more important.

You are supposed to carry a national ID here if you are not a citizen.  It's really a way to identify those not in the country legally by burdening anyone who is.

I have never in 17 years been asked for mine apart from when I pass immigration at the Airport.Which is the only time I ever carry it,since my drivers licence, hse card, firearms licence etc is always in my wallet.

The Police can detain you until they establish your immigration status which they can do with any of the above other forms of IDso it's pointless
